Definition
Pre-insulated pipe systems provide the
safe and efficient method of transporting various fluids while minimizing heat
loss. The factory prefabricated and pre-insulated pipe systems offer an energy
efficient solution for a wide range of applications, especially for the
carrying of fluids (hot water, steam and other high/low temperature mediums) to
the users. This system has many experiences in combined heat and power plants
of Korea District Heating Corporation.

Features
1. EXCELLENT THERMAL INSULATION
Polyurethane filler is light, impervious.
It¡¯s thermal conductivity is very low, which shows superior thermal insulation
characteristic. It is commercially available on the market. When pipe(500A), in
district heating, carries hot water(120¡É) 40km away, the temperature drop is less
than 2¡É.

2. SUPERIOR DURABILITY
3. OUTSTANDING ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY
4. VARIOUS SELECTION OF PORDUCTS
5. PIPE CLASSIFICATION
- For freeze prevention & general insulation
- For district heating
- For steam line (below 180¡É) - For self heating
Material Specification
Insulation Material : Rigid-Polyurethane
Foam
Casing Pipe : HDPE for underground,
Aluminum (spiral wound) for above ground
Thickness of carrier and casing pipe
depends on the conditions of fluid.
